Re Hash Cha am Hash Wild Animal Centre Run August 21st 2010
The hash got off to an early start for many of the members, when they took a walk
around the Rescue Centre beforehand to see some of the animals being treated
there.
Twenty seven regular hashers were present and their ranks were swelled by sixteen
or so of the volunteers working at the centre.
Chicken Legs honoured his lost bet by wearing a thong. I think it was a left one, size
10, and someone was heard to remark that a postage stamp would have been
sufficient to cover the offending parts.
The trail itself was more like a jungle trek than a walk, albeit very pleasant, with Long
Ron handing out tickets for a raffle to be drawn in the circle, with promises of
amazing gifts.

A few of the ladies took a short cut when they got tired and followed the road back to the centre, but Ice
Pussy should have won a special prize for begging a lift on the back of a motorbike, when all she got for
using her initiative was a sit on the ice when the circle was formed. Sixty Nine Forever should have stuck
with his wife and maybe he would have got back a little bit earlier than he did. (Did someone say he ran the
course twice?)
Once the circle was formed everyone duly received their raffle prizes as well as a free T shirt from the
Rescue Centre. Considering these consisted of only two sizes; i.e. small and extra large; everyone
seemed to find one to fit them. The donation box was swelled by 3,010 baht (which miserable bastard
gave the 10 baht?)
The afternoon was then rounded off by a superb free buffet provided by the Rescue Centre (Wildlife
Friends of Thailand), and everyone headed for home replete with beer and good food.
