From Hua Hin take the Pala U Road to the by-pass as above.
From the intersection, take the Pala U Road west, zeroing your odometer

Mongkol.
Watch out for the roadwork's as you pass Wat Huay Mongkol at 6.6 km.
Continue on around a sharp right hand bend angling downwards and
across a small bridge to a turning on the right (HHH) at 7.7 km.
Turn right and follow the concrete road, which changes into a dirt road at
8.7 km.
Proceed generally ahead and to the west along this dirt road and do not
turn off to right or left.
At 10.3 km bear left along by a pine plantation, on the left hand side.
Continue to the car park at 10.7 km.
Either park in the wider part of the track before and leading down to a
small lake, or turn around and park by the conifer plantation.
Leave vehicular access to the water's edge as local water trucks
sometimes fill up from here.

If coming from the south of Hua Hin you could turn off Petchkasem Road
onto Soi 112, just south of the railway flyover.
Proceed west to the by-pass.  When safe proceed across the bypass.
Zero odometer after crossing the bypass and continue in a westerly
direction and travel 7.3 km to a crossroads.

above to the HHH sign,
Turn right, and proceed as above.

Huay Monkol ( 8 km) " at about 36 km from Cha-Am.
Turn Left and zero odometer and proceed 7.3 km, to crossroads, turn left,
go 1.4 km, as immediately above, and then turn right (HHH) and follow the
road to the CP.

Please be at the run site at 16.00 to pay hash taxes and be ready for a
16.30 start.

There will be two runner/walker splits,on the trail, and we know that
hashers will be delighted to hear that a set of quality direction markers
have been purchased from " UNAMBIGUOUS SIGNS INC."!!

The restaurant for the On On On is a good open air Thai place with a
varied menu.
Big Chang is 50 baht, big Leo 60 baht, big Singha 70 baht and big
Heineken 80 baht. These are the prices on the Thai menu, and apparently
have all been raised by 5 baht, so the menu is out of date, but the owner
says that for us, she will honour the prices on the menu, so check your
bills!
Tom Yam Kung is good at 70 baht, and Nestle ice cream, especially the
rum and raisin, is excellent at 10 baht per scoop, when they have any in
stock!
Note the "stikilai" is 10 baht!

To reach the place, from the carpark, go back to the Pal U Road/ by-pass
intersection.
Zero odometer as you go under the fly over, and head east towards Hua
Hin for 4.5 kms.
The restaurant has no English sign, but is called "Lab Roi-Et" on the Thai
sign, and is just after a left hand bend, set back off the road with ample
parking.
